Branden Bowen, a 6'7", 312-pound former three-star offensive tackle prospect, will start at right guard when No. 2 Ohio State faces Indiana on Aug. 31.

Bowen will join other mountain men in giving Ohio State one of (if not the) biggest offensive lines in the country.

A look at where things stand:

BuckeyeS Offensive Line
POSITION LEFT TACKLE LEFT GUARD CENTER RIGHT GUARD RIGHT TACKLE
PLAYER JAMARCO JONES MICHAEL JORDAN BILLY PRICE BRANDEN BOWEN ISAIAH PRINCE
HEIGHT/WEIGHT 6-5, 310 6-7, 310 6-4, 312 6-7, 312 6-7, 312

Average: 6-6, 311 pounds.

"That's a big line," the gentle reader no doubt is saying right now. Indeed it is. But just how big? Well, it's bigger than the professional offensive line found a mere two and a half hours north on I-71:

BROWNS OFFENSIVE LINE
POSITION LEFT TACKLE LEFT GUARD CENTER RIGHT GUARD RIGHT TACKLE
PLAYER JOE THOMAS JOEL BITONIO J.C. TRETTER KEVIN ZEITLER SHON COLEMAN
HEIGHT/WEIGHT 6-6, 312 6-4, 305 6-3, 307 6-4, 315 6-7, 310

Average: 6-4, 309

Obviously there is more to offensive line play than size, but it's clear opposing collegiate defensive lines will face an uphill battle when they play the Buckeyes.
