Indiana quarterback Richard Lagow found wide receiver Ian Thomas for a two-yard touchdown to help put the Hoosiers up 21-20 late in the third quarter. Lagow promptly went to the bench and told his team they would win.
Ohio State H-Back Parris Campbell had something to say about that on the next play from scrimmage.
Campbell recovered from three previous drops in the evening and took a J.T. Barrett pass 74 yards to the house in which he outraced the entire Hoosier defense. The catch and run showcased why Urban Meyer has raved about Campbell throughout his career.
A Sean Neurnberger kick on the next play made it 27-21 Ohio State and noticeably deflated Memorial Stadium.
