Ohio State roasted Rutgers, 56-0, last Saturday night.
Monday, the program announced its players of the game, and it surprisingly wasn't the entire team.
Quarterback J.T. Barrett and wide receiver Johnnie Dixon earned offensive honors. Barrett now reigns over Ohio State's passing record and became the first player in Ohio State history to surpass 10,000 total yards of offense.
Dixon led all receivers with 115 receptions yards and two touchdowns... on three catches.
Linebacker Dante Booker, he of his first career interception and four tackles, was named defensive player of the game.
True freshman linebacker Pete Werner, whom Meyer tabbed for more playing time earlier in the week, finished with two tackles and special teams honors.
