Ohio State played lights out in two of three phases of the game against Penn State. Monday, it awarded players of the game.
On the offensive side of the ball, J.T. Barrett, the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week, took home the honors.
On the defensive side, Ohio State named its top four defensive ends — Tyquan Lewis, Sam Hubbard, Nick Bosa and Jalyn Holmes — as defensive players of the game for their tenacious efforts in holding Saquon Barkley and Trace McSorley in check despite a handful of missed holding calls.
Denzel Ward earned special teams player of the week for his pivotal punt block.
