Ohio State's Urban Meyer has been named the Dodd Trophy Coach of the Week for leading the Buckeyes to a fourth-quarter comeback in their 39-38 win over Penn State on Saturday.

"Coach Meyer and the Buckeyes pulled off a comeback for the ages," Jim Terry, chairman of the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year Foundation, said in a news release. "A win of this magnitude can certainly go a long way in helping the Buckeyes punch a ticket to their third College Football Playoff appearance."

Meyer, who was recently one of 20 coaches named to the Dodd Trophy Midseason Watch List, was previously named the Dodd Trophy Coach of the Week after Ohio State's wins over Michigan State in 2014 and over Oklahoma in 2016.

Meyer joins quarterback J.T. Barrett, who was named as the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week and Earl Campbell Award Tyler Rose National Player of the Week among other awards, in being honored for his performance in Ohio State's win over Penn State.
