In the second month of his NFL career, Lattimore emerged as the league's top cornerbacks. Over the course of the New Orleans Saints' last three games alone, Lattimore has had five passes defensed, including two interceptions, one of which he returned for a 27-yard touchdown against the Detroit Lions on Oct. 15. Lattimore's month of October also included 16 tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
As noted by SB Nation's Brett Kollmann, Lattimore has been so dominant that he has actually gained more yards on interception returns than he has allowed on catches against him in man coverage this season.
Another crazy Marshon Lattimore stat. He has more INT return yards this year (52), than yards given up in man coverage (48). Mind boggling.

Lattimore, who was drafted out of Ohio State with the 11th overall pick in this year's NFL draft, is the second straight Ohio State product to win the October Defensive Rookie of the Month award, following Joey Bosa from last year. Lattimore has also emerged as a favorite to follow in Bosa's footsteps and become the second straight Ohio State product to be named Defensive Rookie of the Year.
