Joe Burrow is officially a Tiger.
LSU officially added Burrow to its roster Monday after his transfer paperwork was completed. Burrow announced his decision to play in Baton Rouge late Friday night.

Burrow joins a crowded, yet inexperienced quarterback room at LSU. The Tigers had a quarterback competition of their own throughout spring practice, but a three player battle between Myles Brennan, Justin McMillan and Lowell Narcisse did not result in a clear front-runner for the job. Of the three quarterbacks mentioned, only one threw a pass for the Tigers last season. Brennan completed 14-of-24 passes for LSU last season as a freshman, throwing one touchdown and two interceptions as Danny Etling's backup.
Burrow has two years of eligibility remaining after graduating from Ohio State earlier this month, which allows him to play immediately for the Tigers. LSU is set to open its 2018 season at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas against Miami (FL) on Sept. 2.
