BREAKING: Football has finally returned.
After eight long months of monotony and one of unnecessary excitement, the offseason finally concluded last week with the long-awaited kickoff of the 2018 season. Despite the recent drama off-the-field, Ohio State opened their campaign with a statement win over off-brand OSU, dominating the Beavers by putting 77 points on the board.
While Dwayne Haskins sparkled in his debut as a starter and Nick Bosa and Dre'Mont Jones produced like the potential first-round draft picks they are, the Buckeyes received huge performances from Mike Weber and Terry McLaurin as well. Additionally, a number of young players got their first playing time in Ohio Stadium as a pair of true freshman running backs found the end zone.
To choose just one play to be the sole highlight is tough among such a deep pool of qualified candidates, which is why we're here for you.
Similar to last year when Sam Hubbard was crowned the inaugural winner for slamming the entire Penn State backfield into the turf, readers like you have the chance to choose which play stands about above all others this fall. However, instead of crowning one champion to retain the title from week-to-week, this year the winner of each week's individual poll will face off in a bracket-style tournament at season's end.
