Ohio State was already hurting on the offensive line with the absence of Demetrius Knox, and after Thayer Munford (who had been playing through pain) was seen sidelined with his teammate.
According to Ryan Day, Munford will be a game-time decision as to whether he'll play or not, but should he be sidelined, it is probable that Joshua Alabi will step in for the starting left tackle.
Ohio State offensive coordinator Ryan Day said left tackle Thayer Munford, who has been sidelined by an undisclosed injury, will be a game-time decision for the Rose Bowl.

Munford had been one of the best offensive linemen for the Buckeyes this season, and though this presents a great opportunity for Alabi, the loss of Munford would be a blow to an offensive line that faces a stingy Washington pass defense (albeit one without much of a pass rush). Here's hoping Thayer can see the field.
