Ohio State looked like the best team in college football on Saturday, and the Football Writers Association of America has recognized the Buckeyes' performance accordingly.
The FWAA named Ohio State as the National Team of the Week on Monday following its 48-7 win at Nebraska this past weekend.
For the second year in a row, Ohio State wins the National Team of the Week award after winning its fifth game of the season. The Buckeyes won the award last year after its fourth-quarter comeback win at Penn State.
Ohio State has won the National Team of the Week award five times since its inception in 2002.
