Senior defensive end Jonathan Cooper is expected to take a redshirt and return in 2020. He's played in three games so far this season, and he's back for No. 4 in Ann Arbor.
He's made appearances against Nebraska, Michigan State, and Northwestern, but injuries have kept him sidelined for the bulk of his senior campaign.
Ohio State defensive end Jonathon Cooper, who will play just one more game this season before redshirting, is warming up with the Buckeyes' starting defense today. So is Shaun Wade, who was listed as a game-time decision but looks like he'll be able to play.

Earlier in the week, Ryan Day discussed the plan for Cooper, which was still very much up in the air at the time.
"Certainly he's going to play in another game this year," Day said in his weekly press conference. "We just don't know exactly which one yet."
Ohio State's defensive line play has been superb in his absence. Chase Young has been doing his thing as the best player in America, but Tyreke Smith and Zach Harrison have filled in admirably in place of the senior.
