Should Michigan's COVID-19 issues dissipate in way that allows it to travel to Columbus next weekend, the Wolverines will enter the Shoe as a sizable 30-point underdog, as posted by Circa Sports on Sunday.
The bloated 2020 spread marks the seventh time in the last 13 years Ohio State has opened as a double-digit favorite against the Wolverines.

This is the biggest line for The Game in modern history. 2014 had Ohio State -21 and 2008 had Ohio State -20.

Maybe Michigan was favored by more in the era of Prohibition or something, but we don't have records going back that far.
Per ESPN's David Purdum, the 30-point spread is the largest Michigan has faced in any game – against Ohio State or anyone else – since at least 1978.
In its most recent game, Michigan suffered a 27-17 loss at home to Penn State on Nov. 28. The Wolverines are 2-4 this season, with their only wins over Minnesota and Rutgers.
Ohio State sits at 5-0 after a 52-12 win over Michigan State and has won 17 of its last 19 games against Michigan.
If able to be played, The Game will kick off at noon on Saturday and air on Fox.
