Ohio State's defensive backs believe they're ready to put on a show.
While the Buckeyes' offense has deservedly drawn high praise from national pundits across the country, Ohio State safety Tanner McCalister said practice hasn't been one-sided whatsoever.
“You can ask some of the offensive players, we’ve been giving them trouble this fall camp,” McCalister said Tuesday.
McCalister was one of eight defensive backs to meet with the media Tuesday along with cornerbacks coach Tim Walton and safeties coach Perry Eliano. The defensive backs who fielded questions from reporters included McCalister, Josh Proctor, Lathan Ransom, JK Johnson, Denzel Burke, Kourt Williams, Cameron Martinez and Ronnie Hickman.
Ransom and Proctor discussed their injury recoveries, while Williams talked about being named a team captain. You can hear more of what each member of the secondary had to say in the videos above and below.
