Cade Stover and Miyan Williams were the stars of an Ohio State offense that produced 31 first-half points against Wisconsin, with both players scoring two touchdowns in the opening 30 minutes.
Williams put the Buckeyes on the board first with a 2-yard score, which capped off a six-play, 88-yard drive on their first possession to put Ohio State up 7-0.

After a Graham Mertz interception, Ohio State had excellent field position deep inside Wisconsin territory. A few plays later, C.J. Stroud connected with Stover on a long-developing route. The redshirt sophomore quarterback took the snap and immediately moved left with the pocket before stopping on a dime and hitting a wide-open Stover a few steps past the right hash. It was the first-career touchdown for Stover.

Stover collected his second-career touchdown five minutes later – this time a little closer to the end zone. With the offense on the 2-yard line, Stroud faked a handoff to Williams, rolled out to his right and connected with Stover – who again was wide-open – in the right corner of the end zone.

Williams decided to match his teammate with another touchdown, powering his way through the Badgers' front seven and into the red turf. That second score was part of an 11-carry, 101-yard first half for Wiliams, who passed the century mark in rushing yards for the third time in his career.
After the score, the redshirt sophomore ball carrier decided to hit the Wisconsin defense with the silencer.

Ohio State drove into the Wisconsin red zone one more time in the first half but settled for a field goal. Noah Ruggles sent his kick through the uprights from 25 yards, putting the Buckeyes in front 31-7 at the break.
In the second half, Williams and Stover did not see any action, with the former going the final 30 minutes without a carry and the latter no catching any passes from Stroud. Still, Ohio State went on to win the game, 52-21, over the Badgers primarily due to their work that put the Buckeyes in front early.
