Dawand Jones is headed to the Senior Bowl.
The Senior Bowl announced Wednesday that Jones will be among the players present in Mobile, Alabama, for its pre-draft camp and all-star game. Jones is the second Buckeye to accept an invitation to attend the event, as defensive end Zach Harrison entered his name into the field on Monday.

Jones is regarded as one of Ohio State's top prospects for the 2023 NFL draft after two solid seasons defending the right edge of the offensive line. The 6-foot-8, 359-pound tackle was named an All-American by four news outlets after the 2022 regular season, including first-team recognition from Pro Football Focus and CBS Sports and second-team honors from the Associated Press and Sporting News.
While Jones could have returned for a fifth year in 2023 after the NCAA granted players with seasons impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic an additional season of eligibility, he indicated after 2021 that this fall would likely be his final attempt to improve his draft stock before heading to the pros.
Jones is now the second Buckeye to accept an invitation to the Senior Bowl, along with Harrison, and the third Ohio State player who will play in a postseason pre-draft all-star game, as defensive tackle Taron Vincent will play in the East-West Shrine Bowl following the College Football Playoffs.
