Drue Chrisman received a raise on Tuesday.

The former Buckeye and current Cincinnati Bengals punter has spent his summer making deliveries for DoorDash, using the second source of income to purchase food from local restaurants in Cincinnati and donating it to those in need.

Chrisman has archived pictures and videos from most of his deliveries on Twitter, often shooting from a first-person point of view as he bikes around the Queen City. On Tuesday, Chrisman tweeted that his charitable work and social media presence garnered DoorDash's attention, with the company offering to match his earnings for the next two weeks and make a $1,000 donation to a Cincinnati food bank.

Chrisman averaged 47.8 yards per punt for the Bengals last season – good for the 13th-best average in the NFL. At Ohio State, Chrisman averaged 44 yards per punt and placed an impressive 83 kicks inside the opponent's 20-yard line. He was also a two-time semifinalist for the Ray Guy Award, an honor presented to the top punter in college football, and an Academic All-Big Ten honoree.

The Lawrenceburg, Indiana, native will return to the Bengals for the second season of a two-year contract he signed with the franchise in 2022. He will make a base salary of $870,000 in 2023 and will become a free agent next offseason.
