When Big Ten Football Media Days arrive in two weeks, a trio of household names will represent Ohio State.
Wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., defensive end JT Tuimoloau and tight end Cade Stover will be the three Buckeyes in Indianapolis for the 2023 Big Ten Media Days, which will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium on July 26 and 27.
Harrison was a unanimous All-American last season, collecting 77 catches for 1,263 yards and 14 touchdowns. He was also named the Big Ten Richter-Howard Wide Reciever of the Year and received first-team All-Big Ten recognition.
Tuimoloau enters the 2023 season with massive expectations after receiving first-team All-Big Ten honors in 2022. He appeared and started in all 13 of Ohio State's games last fall, recording 28 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. Tuimoloau also had one of the conference's best performances ever in a regular-season matchup with Penn State, collecting six tackles, two sacks, one pass breakup, two interceptions, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and a touchdown in the Buckeyes' 44-31 win over the Nittany Lions.
Stover was a team captain in 2022 and will look to receive the same honors ahead of 2023. The Mansfield, Ohio, native started all 13 games for the Buckeyes last season and hauled in 36 passes for 406 yards and five touchdowns. Stover's reception and yardage totals were the most by an Ohio State tight end in 28 years, dating back to Rickey Dudley's 37 receptions and 575 yards in 1995.
Of course, Ryan Day will also be in Indianapolis with his three players. The fifth-year head coach will conduct an initial press conference at 12:30 p.m. on July 26 and will return to a separate podium later that afternoon at 3:30 p.m., while Harrison, Tuimoloau and Stover will all meet with reporters from 1:15-1:45 p.m. that Wednesday.
You can find the full list of attendees and full schedule for the two-day event on the Big Ten’s official website.
