2025 cornerback Jordyn Woods flips from Cincinnati and commits to Ohio State.
Ohio State could make it three on NBC.
In addition to Ohio State's matchups with Notre Dame on Sept. 23 and Michigan State on Nov. 11, the Buckeyes' road battle with Wisconsin on Oct. 28 will reportedly air on NBC and Peacock's Big Ten Saturday Night, according to the Action Network.
Ohio State has won nine consecutive games against Wisconsin, and its most recent victory was a 52-21 win over the Badgers at Ohio Stadium in 2022. Still, the 2023 matchup between the Buckeyes and Badgers in Madison has plenty of primetime appeal.
Former Ohio State player and coach Luke Fickell was hired in November 2022 to be Wisconsin's head coach after six seasons at Cincinnati, which included a College Football Playoff appearance for the Bearcats in 2021. Fickell will lead a Badgers team picked to win the Big Ten West by conference media members in an annual poll from Cleveland.com. The Buckeyes were picked to finish second in the Big Ten East behind Michigan in the same poll.
Two-time All-Big Ten running back Braelon Allen and wide receiver Chimere Deke will headline Wisconsin's offense this fall, while linebacker Maema Njongmeta will lead the defense. The Badgers also added former Oklahoma and SMU quarterback Tanner Mordecai and former Mississippi State quarterback Braedyn Locke in the offseason.
Meanwhile, the Buckeyes will be led by a new starting quarterback in Kyle McCord or Devin Brown but return TreVeyon Henderson, Miyan Williams, Emeka Egbuka and Big Ten preseason honoree Marvin Harrison Jr. and company. Ohio State's defense returns several starters, including JT Tuimoloau, Jack Sawyer, Tommy Eichenberg and Denzel Burke, among others.
Ohio State's matchups with Indiana (Sept. 2, 3:30 p.m. on CBS), Youngstown State (Sept. 9, Noon on Big Ten Network), Western Kentucky (Sept. 16, 4 p.m. on FOX) and Michigan (Nov. 25, Noon on FOX) also have kickoff times scheduled for 2023. Additionally, the Buckeyes' matchup with Maryland on Oct. 7 will either kick off at noon, 3:30 p.m. or 4 p.m. on a to-be-determined network.
