With Jalen Ramsey out until December, Apple brings a lot of experience to the Miami secondary. His agent Kevin Conner of @UniSportsMgmt confirmed the deal.
Apple spent has last two seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals, racking up 98 tackles in 31 regular season games. He also forced a fumble, picked off two passes and recorded 18 pass deflections in his Bengals' tenure.
Apple, the No. 10 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, will provide much-needed depth for the Dolphins after Jalen Ramsey suffered a meniscus injury earlier this week.
In his NFL career, Apple has recorded 331 tackles, 51 passes defended, five interceptions and three forced fumbles.
