A few days after Ohio State's top-10 win over Notre Dame, there's still no shortage of excitement from the Buckeyes' players about a last-second win and what that could do for them going forward.
Meeting with reporters Wednesday, linebacker Cody Simon said the postgame celebration was “probably the most electric our locker room’s ever been.”
Chip Trayanum's one-yard touchdown was set up by several passes from Kyle McCord to Emeka Egbuka, both of whom also met with the media on Wednesday to give their thoughts on the win and break down the plays they made on the game-winning drive.
Ohio State fans held their collective breath Saturday when Marvin Harrison Jr. suffered an ankle injury on TreVeyon Henderson's long touchdown run, but Harrison Jr. was able to stay in the game. On Wednesday, Harrison Jr. was back at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center in his natural habitat, catching passes from the school's Monarc machine.
While the emotion of the win is still riding high, Egbuka cautioned that the win doesn't mean anything if OSU isn't prepared to play Maryland in a week-and-a-half, as the Buckeyes have started preparation for their second Big Ten game of the year during the bye week.
Eleven Warriors’ Dan Hope and Andy Anders discuss all of those topics on this week’s episode of Press Coverage, which you can watch in the video above.
