Stroud’s 121 passing attempts without an interception are the most ever for an NFL quarterback in his first three starts, while his 906 passing yards through three starts are the third-most in NFL history behind only Cam Newton (1,012) and Justin Herbert (931).
Three weeks into the season, Stroud ranks fifth in the NFL in passing yards, eighth in the league in yards per passing attempt (7.5) and 10th in the league in passer rating (98.0).
The No. 2 overall pick in this year’s NFL draft, Stroud earned his first win as an NFL quarterback on Sunday when he led the Houston Texans to a 37-17 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars by completing 20 of 30 passing attempts for 280 yards and two touchdowns.
