No quarterback has ever attempted more passes without an interception to start an NFL career than C.J. Stroud.
With 35 more pass attempts without an interception against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, the former Ohio State quarterback has now thrown 186 pass attempts to begin his NFL career without being picked off once. He surpassed the previous record held by Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, who attempted 176 passes before throwing his first interception as a pro.

The Falcons would still end up winning the game after the Texans defense surrendered a game-winning field goal, but Stroud only strengthened his case for Offensive Rookie of the Year honors with his individual performance in Week 5.
