You might not remember, but it had been more than an entire month since TreVeyon Henderson took a snap on the football field.
A lot can happen in a month, but in this case it was the Ohio State Buckeyes mostly holding serve against overmatched opponents, struggling offensively against the better ones, and generally just hoping that the offense would either work itself out or say the hell with it and throw it to Marvin Harrison, Jr. a million times.
The reason why Henderson's return is such a big deal, beyond the fact that he ran for 162 yards and a touchdown, is that the Buckeyes have struggled to become multi-dimensional on offense the entire season. They struggled to do that last night against the Badgers, too, but the feeling after this game isn't that they're incapable of having their cake and eating it too offensively, it's that it's just a matter of making all the disparate elements work at the same time. A game in which Kyle McCord, Marvin Harrison, Jr., Emeka Egbuka, Cade Stover, and TreVeyon Henderson are all on the field and playing their best has felt like a mirage all season, but Henderson's return reminds us that oh, right: this team is capable of being really, really dominant.
They're not there yet, but maybe in another month we'll see that this victory against Wisconsin was the beginning of something truly impressive.

Treyveyon Henderson is always a threat to score from anywhere. It's a luxury.

Im very happy to see the Buckeyes get outta Madison with a win.

Also, we have acknowledge that this team has some glaring holes in protection and issues at QB.
Cant always rely on Marv to bail us out on offense.
We gotta just commit to the run and using play action 2 pass
Ive held my tongue all season about this defense, but a goal line stand against Wisconsin really is a thing of beauty. Theyre earning that silver bullet name

The Wisconsin Badgers should never be in shotgun from the 1-yard line. Ever.

Marvin Harrison Jr. on Kyle McCord:

"He's resilient. That's what I've seen from him every day since the high school days. He never gets too down on himself. He has some great guys around him that will pick him up. He's gonna continue to fight."
Marvin Harrison Jr. had 6 catches for 123 yds and TD in Ohio State's 24-10 win at Wisconsin.

And that's it! Next up is a surprisingly tough Rutgers team that is assuredly going to throw the kitchen sink at the Buckeyes. See you then!
