Connor Stalions purchased tickets to 12 Ohio State home football games over the past three years, according to public records from Ohio State.
The records, which were first reported on by ABC6 and 10TV, showed that Stalions purchased tickets to 12 Ohio State home games over the past three years:
- 2021: Maryland, Purdue and Michigan State
- 2022: Notre Dame, Arkansas State, Toledo, Wisconsin, Rutgers and Michigan
- 2023: Western Kentucky, Maryland and Penn State
Per a spreadsheet provided by Ohio State, Stalions purchased 27 total tickets to those 12 games. Thirteen total tickets to 10 games, including a ticket to this year’s Western Kentucky game and two tickets to this year’s Maryland game, were transferred to other people. Nine tickets, including two tickets to last year’s Arkansas State game and seven tickets to the 2022 Michigan game, were sold on the secondary market. Five tickets purchased by Stalions, including two tickets to this year’s Penn State game, were never scanned for entry.
Thirteen of the tickets were purchased in sections 22AA, 22A or 20A, which sit between the 40- and 50-yard lines opposite the Ohio State sideline. A ticket to this year’s game against Maryland was purchased in 23A, which sits between the 30- and 40-yard line behind Ohio State’s sideline.
Stalions resigned from Michigan’s staff on Nov. 3, one week after he was identified as the leader of an alleged sign-stealing operation in which he sent associates to scout opponents in person and film opponents for the purpose of stealing their signals, both of which are prohibited by the NCAA.
According to the Big Ten’s official notice of disciplinary action sent to Michigan on Nov. 10, when Jim Harbaugh was suspended for the final three games of the regular season, the NCAA informed the Big Ten on Nov. 2 that it “knew and could prove” Stalions coordinated an impermissible sign-stealing scheme.
The NCAA’s investigation into Michigan’s sign-stealing operation remains ongoing.
