With five days to go until the Rose Bowl, Ohio State’s preparation for its rematch with Oregon is in full swing.

As the Buckeyes practiced at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center on Friday afternoon, they welcomed in members of the media who cover the team to watch the first couple of periods of practice, giving us another opportunity to capture some footage of the scarlet and gray as they get ready for Wednesday’s College Football Playoff quarterfinal matchup against the Ducks.

As the open portion of practice consisted only of individual drills, it revealed nothing about the Buckeyes’ game plan for beating the Ducks. But it did offer a behind-the-scenes look at some of the Buckeyes’ start-of-practice drills including Ohio State quarterbacks throwing the ball, receivers catching passes, running backs working on ball security, defensive linemen and linebackers rushing the passer, linebackers working on forcing fumbles, cornerbacks dropping back and catching throws and more.

You can get a glimpse of all of that in the video at the top of the page.
