Denzel Burke recorded Ohio State's first takeaway of the season in style.

In the second quarter of the Buckeyes' game against Akron, Burke dropped into zone coverage as Zips receiver Adrian Norton ran a curl route underneath him. Burke sprinted forward and ripped the ball from Norton's hands as he caught it for an interception.

The pick was the third in Burke's decorated Ohio State career, and he's added two tackles against Akron on Saturday.

While the Buckeyes' defense has been successful for the most part, its offense has sputtered in spots against the Zips in the first half. Taking the ball at Akron's 33-yard line following the interception, Ohio State managed one first down before stalling out for a mere field goal to go up 10-3.
