Rumors surfaced last week that Judkins hurt his hand in a practice leading up to the Oregon game. He carried the ball for a season-low 23 yards on 11 carries in the contest. He also had the ball stolen out of his hands by Oregon defensive tackle Derrick Harmon during the Buckeyes’ second drive; Oregon scored its first touchdown of the game two plays later.

Ryan Day said Monday that Judkins was “fine” when asked about the running back’s health during his appearance on the Buckeye Roundtable show on Monday.
Judkins has carried the ball 71 times for 491 yards and six touchdowns this season. He and TreVeyon Henderson (52 carries, 424 yards, four touchdowns) are one of the best running back duos in the nation, combining for 123 carries, 915 and 10 scores in 2024.
In two complete seasons at Ole Miss and a half-season at Ohio State, Judkins has made 32 appearances at the collegiate level. He has 3,216 yards and 37 touchdowns on 616 carries in those games, earning first-team All-SEC accolades in both 2022 and 2023.
