There were six risers and no fallers for Ohio State in the latest player ratings update for EA Sports College Football 25.

Cornerback Jordan Hancock made the biggest leap among them, going from 84 to 87 overall after a fantastic regular season playing nickel for the Buckeyes. Hancock collected 32 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, an interception and six pass breakups in Ohio State's first 12 games.

With a strong close to his season, defensive end Jack Sawyer got a bump from 93 to 94 overall, standing alone as the second-highest-rated defender and third-highest-rated player for the Buckeyes' video game outfit. He trails only safety Caleb Downs and running back Quinshon Judkins, who both remained at 95 overall in the latest update.

Safety Lathan Ransom joined Hancock as the only Buckeye position player to get a multi-point bump, going from 86 overall to 88 after collecting 57 tackles, six TFLs, an interception, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in 11 games. Kicker Jayden Fielding also got a bump of two points from 72 to 74 despite struggles against Michigan, where he went 1-of-3 kicking field goals with misses of 34 and 38 yards.

Linebacker Cody Simon (85 to 86 overall) and quarterback Will Howard (86 to 87) round out the list of ratings bumps for Ohio State.

Despite the Buckeyes' 13-10 loss to close the regular season against Michigan, no OSU players saw their ratings drop in EA Sports’ ratings update to end the regular season.
