On Wednesday, Ohio State women’s basketball defeated Michigan, 84-77, behind a 29-point performance from guard Jaloni Cambridge. The freshman phenom recorded the team-high point total on 11-of-23 shooting and a 6-of-7 mark from the free-throw line. She also had six rebounds, four assists and one steal in the contest.
In addition to Cambridge, the Buckeyes had three other starters score 10 or more points against the Wolverines: guard Chance Gray (16 points) and forwards Cotie McMahon (13 points) and Ajae Petty (10 points). Guard Taylor Thierry barely missed out on double figures with eight points but tied Petty for the team-high in rebounds with seven.
