Ohio is shining in the NFL Draft.
Former Ohio Mr. Football Mitchell Trubisky was taken No. 2 overall in the NFL Draft by Chicago after the Bears gave up four picks to the 49ers to move up one spot in order to select him.
Trubisky threw for 4,065 yards with 42 touchdown passes and only 12 interceptions in his senior season at Mentor High School. He also rushed for rushed for 835 yards and 18 touchdowns on 197 carries.
He enrolled at North Carolina before the 2013 season and established himself as the starter before the 2016 season where he threw for 3,748 yards and 30 touchdowns and just six interceptions.
