Denard Robinson is returning to Michigan.
The former Michigan quarterback is joining Jim Harbaugh's staff as an assistant director of player personnel, as first reported by Ant Wright of On3.
Robinson has had two coaching roles previously, working as an offensive analyst in 2019 at Jacksonville University and then as an offensive quality control coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021.
In his four seasons at Michigan, Robinson was a true dual-threat quarterback, throwing for 6,250 yards, 49 touchdowns, and 39 interceptions throughout his career with 4,495 yards and 42 touchdowns on the ground.
It's currently unclear whether this new role at Michigan will require him to tie his shoes.
