Ed Orgeron's Rough 2021 Continues
LSU football coach Ed Orgeron was added as a defendant in a Title IX lawsuit against the school for failing to report an allegation of rape, according to the suit.
Ashlyn Robertson, who recently joined the lawsuit, states that in the fall of 2016, she told her new boyfriend, an LSU football recruit, that then Tigers running back Derrius Guice had raped her.
According to the lawsuit, Robertson's boyfriend told Orgeron, and he responded that “everybody's girlfriend sleeps with other people.”
That's the complete opposite of how any decent human responds to a rape allegation.
The suit alleges that Orgeron never reported the rape to LSU's Title IX office or any other authority at the school, which is problematic for Orgeron, who has denied being informed of the incident.
EA's NCAA Football Back in 2023?
Friend of the site Matt Brown got his hands on a copy of the EA Sports/CLC proposal to FBS schools from earlier this year.
Got another copy of the EA Sports/CLC proposal to FBS schools, dated Jan 15, with fewer redactions than previous copies. Here's a bit more info on the money schools may make from the game:

Some details are still redacted, but the term of the proposal from EA Sports to CLC, the licensing group for college sports, indicates the game, which has not been published since 2014, could make a triumphant return in the summer of 2023.

Smart, once Nick Saban's defensive coordinator at Alabama, is 0–3 against Nick Saban and Alabama since taking the head job at Georgia. The Bulldogs led at halftime in all three contests.
Kiffin, meanwhile, went 5–5 in his first season at Ole Miss, falling to then No. 2 Alabama, 63-48, in Oxford on October 10.

HANDICAPPING J.T. TUIMOLOAU'S FINAL SCHOOLS
Five-star defensive end J.T. Tuimoloau, the top-ranked uncommitted prospect in the 2021 class canceled his official visit to Alabama and will decide between Washington, USC, Oregon, and Ohio State. Andrew Ellis breaks down the four suitors for Tuimoloau, and where they stand in the race to land the No. 3 overall player in the class.
THE 10 MOST IMPRESSIVE PROSPECTS FROM OHIO STATE'S JUNE CAMPS
Dan Hope has a list of the 10 most impressive prospects he observed at Ohio State's high school football camps in the month of June, topped by five-star wide receiver Brandon Inniss, the No. 1 rated wideout in the 2023 class.
Going into his junior year at American Heritage School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Inniss looks like he could be a star in a college offense right now. At a well-built 6-foot-1 and 188 pounds, Inniss demonstrated exceptional quickness, route-running skill and ball skills for a receiver of his age while consistently winning his one-on-one reps against just about every defensive back he went up against at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
Ohio State currently has the most talented receivers room in all of college football, but there's always room for more five stars.
OHIO STATE TO FACE XAVIER ON THE ROAD ON NOV. 18
Colin Hass-Hill has the story of Ohio State's scheduled showdown with Xavier as part of the Gavitt Games this season. The Buckeyes will travel to X for the first time in program history when the two schools meet on the hardwood on November 18.
The two teams have met just twice before, both on neutral courts. In 1984, Xavier bounced OSU from the NIT. In 2007, Ron Lewis dropped 27 points in a second-round game, including a huge three to tie it in regulation, before the Buckeyes went on to knock the Musketeers out of the NCAA Tournament, 78-71.
