Expansion Odds

College football expansion is probably not done. As a result, Bovada is now allowing fans to place bets on the next dominoes to fall in the expansion landscape. Notre Dame and Oregon have the best odds on joining the Big Ten, at +150, followed by Washington (+600) and Kansas (+1400).

Clemson and Florida State top the list for SEC expansion at +250.

Gavitt Games Announced

Though Ohio State is not participating in the 7th annual Gavitt Tipoff Games, which matches up the Big Ten vs. the Big East on the hardwood, there are some intriguing matchups taking place this year as the schedule was announced late last week.

The Gavitt Tipoff Games first began in 2015 and has been played annually since, with the exception of 2020. Last year, Ohio State lost in the Games at Xavier. This year's matchups are highlighted by Marquette at Purdue (Nov. 15), Iowa at Seton Hall (Nov. 16), Indiana at Xavier (Nov. 18) and Villanova at Michigan State (Nov. 18).

Robinson's Rings Pawned

In a strange story, former Alabama running back Keilan Robinson's 2020 championship rings were pawned and listed for sale on the popular TV show, "Pawn Stars."

The three rings, from the SEC, Rose Bowl, and College Football Playoff National Championship, have Robinson's name and number inscribed on them. Robinson did not play during the 2020 season as he opted out due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He subsequently transferred to Texas. It is unclear how the rings were taken out of Robinson's possession.
