Jim Harbaugh's tutoring of Baylor's Bryce Petty and Florida State's Jameis Winston before the NFL Draft made sense on some level. They are both students of George Whitfield Jr, who, say what you will about his methods, lords over one of the deepest prep quarterback stables in the country.
But it looks like Bo Schembechler's doors are open to not only future NFL players who did not play at Michigan, but also current NFL players who did not play at Michigan:

I understand coaches want future and former NFL players around their program, but usually those players played for those respective programs. But I guess it's not like recent Michigan draftees have lit the NFL on fire, so maybe Harbaugh is just doing the best with the cards he was dealt.
