Vocel and Cash, the No. 2 seed in the tournament, will face Texas’ Cleeve Harper and Richard Ciamarra (the No. 4 seed) in Saturday’s final. The doubles final will take place after the conclusion of the singles finals, which begin at noon Saturday.
If Cash and Vocel win Saturday, they’ll become just the second Ohio State duo to win an NCAA doubles championship, joining Chase Buchanan and Blaz Rola, who won the title in 2012. Cash and Vocel already won the ITA All-American Championship and ITA Fall National Championship this fall and have a 37-4 record this season.
