Before tipoff the big news was PSU center Mike Watkins (a big problem for us in the 2 previous matchups) couldn’t go because of a knee injury. This gave us a big advantage down low with Kaleb Wesson, and he was pretty effective in the first half but didn’t play at all after the intermission?

Clearly Holtmann saw something with the small lineup he deployed and decided to ride that the whole second half (ps: I like the small lineup as well and have been calling for more of it this yr). I just don’t know how we didn’t see our skilled big man play ANY MINUTES with the game in flux when they clearly didn’t have anyone who could matchup with him?
