Former Ohio State forward Jae'Sean Tate and his team of Big Ten basketball alumni were victorious again in the 3X3U National Championship on Saturday, finishing pool play with a 3-0 record – and $3,000 in winnings – and advancing to the quarterfinals.
After winning two games on Friday, Tate and the Big Ten defeated the team from the Southern Conference, 21-19, in their final game of pool play on Saturday afternoon.
The Big Ten team will return to the court to face the team from the SEC in the quarterfinals of the tournament at 1:55 p.m. Sunday. The semifinals and finals, which are also scheduled for Sunday afternoon, will be televised on ESPN2 beginning at 3:30 p.m.
