Here is some news on the coaching front... It appears that Coach Holtmann has identified Coach Jake Diebler, brother of Jon as the next to join the staff. I was hoping for Scoonie to possibly get a promotion, but I don't hate this move. Someone with experience at Valpo and Vandy, I believe that he has been in both the Thad Matta and Bryce Drew coaching tree and knows the program as well as the state of Ohio.
Ohio State is expected to hire former Vanderbilt assistant Jake Diebler to fill opening on Chris Holtmanns staff, source tells @TheAthletic. Diebler was video coordinator at OSU under Thad Matta from 2013-16. Also work as an assistant at Valparaiso.
