It’s not easy to replace a coach as successful as Thad Matta, but Chis Holtmann has done a fantastic job. He’s established a culture and a program that is tough to beat, and next year should field another squad with a high floor and higher ceiling. The Bucks should again be tourney-bound with potential to eventually breakthrough and make a run!

Backcourt depth- Brown, Sotos

Frontcourt depth- Towns, Diallo

We know Duane Washington & EJ Liddell can get buckets and keep this team in games with their scoring. The Buckeyes will be especially deep on the wing (positions 2-4), just a little thin at the 1 & 5. 

We’ll need an unproven PG & Center to step-up and play well for this team to really make some noise. But the core group and returning strength of this team will make us a tough out for almost anybody.

I’m impressed by the baseline level of performance that Coach Holtmann has established and the upside potential is just waiting to breakout and push us into the CBB elite. Coach has us ranked more often than not (which is a huge accomplishment in a sport with over 300 teams). Big things are on the horizon for Ohio State Basketball!
