Jae'Sean Tate had a productive debut in his first regular-season NBA game on Saturday night.
In the Houston Rockets' first game of the season, which came Saturday after their season opener against the Oklahoma City Thunder was postponed, Tate played 37 minutes and scored 13 points with four rebounds, two assists and one steal in a 128-126 overtime loss to the Portland Trail Blazers.

Despite going undrafted in 2018 and spending his first two years out of Ohio State playing overseas, Tate appears to be on track to see regular playing time in the Rockets' rotation this year.
