I still think he's a good coach but he needs to do better recruiting. The 2022 class is shaping up nicely (still too guard heavy) but the past couple were meh. High rated guys like Carton and Gaffney not panning out is Matta-esque and set the program back. We're really too heavily on transfers who can be solid but don't have the talent of high rated recruits.

10/11 seed tournament teams are becoming to common place. Holtman has done a good job overall in my opinion but I'm not liking what I'm seeing recruiting/transfer wise. I don't think he should be on the hot seat, but in 3 years if we're not competing for B1G titles, then we need to reconsider.
