Former Ohio State point guard D'Angelo Russell hit a game-winning 3-pointer with just 2.9 seconds to play to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 106-103 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night:

The win was much-needed for the Timberwolves, who are currently last in the Western Conference with a 6-16 record this season. Russell, who scored 21 points on Friday, has averaged 19.9 points per game so far this year.
