Ohio State didn't make an appearance in the AP Top 25 or the USA Today Coaches Poll on Monday following an upset win over Michigan State, but it did climb the rankings in one particular writer's power rankings. 

Longtime college basketball reporter now working for NCAA.com listed Ohio State as the No. 16 team in his power rankings on Monday after having the Buckeyes unranked in the week prior.

The Buckeyes also checked in at No. 25 in ESPN's latest power rankings, but acquired just 29 votes in the AP poll and only nine in the coaches poll.
